Fall Washington & Lee Engagement Session

I can’t tell you how sweet this engagement session was for me. I’ve known this bride since she was 8 and I was so excited, not only meet her fiance but, to have the honor of capturing their engagement pictures! She had contacted me a month earlier to see if I would photograph their wedding. Once she booked her wedding I told her about my gift to all my wedding couples: a free engagement session! She was so excited! Remarking that she didn’t think they’ll be able to do engagement portraits.

I include a free engagement session in all my wedding packages because I think it ads so much to your wedding photography. Not only do my couples get comfortable in front of my camera but I teach them how to pose. I can’t tell you the ease and comfort this brings to your wedding day portraits.

As Huldah and I continued to plan her engagement photos, we decided on the beautiful, historic campus of Washington & Lee in Lexington, Virginia. It was a beautiful, fall Saturday. There was a perfect crisp, autumn scent in the air, even if the weather did prove to be a little nippy. 

Huldah & Micah met in college at church and the rest is history. I can’t tell you how perfectly they suit each other. They’re usually off hiking or enjoying nature somewhere. There’s always a laugh or smile to share and you can see in their eyes how much they love each other. Huldah & Micah, Congratulations on your engagement!
