I love it when the bride and groom add unique touches of their personality throughout their wedding day. Margaret is an artist, she can take a simple lump of clay and turn it into something beautiful. Sean is a runner. Marathons, charity races, you name it. He’s there.
When I heard that they had chosen The Staunton Augusta Art Center for their ceremony location I knew it was the perfect fit. What I didn’t know was how beautiful the building and gardens are at this location! I toured the venue with the bride a few months before the wedding and was amazed at the beautiful grounds and architecture. It was so unique! The building was lovely and the artwork provided a beautiful setting for their wedding.
After the ceremony we went across the street to the elegant Stonewall Jackson Hotel. Margaret’s reception tables were decorated with handcrafted ceramic teapots by Stephen Palmer Ceramics. Trust me when I say, they had all guests talking during the reception. I was amazed at the detail in those steampunk inspired teapots. Even more special, each teapot served double duty as a gift from the bride and groom. How sweet is that?!
Margaret and Sean’s wedding was a joy from start to finish! All the special touches made the day so perfectly fit for them! From the Converse & Nike Shoes to the fine art, and all the help and support of their friends it’s clear to see their passion for life, loved ones and most of all, each other!
