Holly + Tyler

February 5, 2019

Holly’s wedding took place on the beautiful grounds of The Virginia School for The Deaf and Blind in Staunton, VA. The campus was simply beautiful. I love the character in historic buildings. Beautiful white columns, sprawling staircases and two story doors are architectural elements that my photographer eye dreams about. It’s not often someone gets ready in a building that served as a hospital during the war.

Holly’s wedding was home crafted and showcases the support and talent of her loving family. The groom and his family flew in straight from Texas and had their first taste of Virginia. There was plenty of cowboy boots and Texas charm at this wedding.

The couple exited the reception to a shower of crushed rose petals which looked stunning. Though I do have it straight from the ring bearer that the petals do not taste as good as they look. Consider yourself warned!

To the bride and groom, I can easily see the love and values you have chosen to build your marriage on. I pray for God’s blessing on your home! Here’s to many wonderful years to come!
